Newfoundland Immigration Registration System

Since February 2025, the province has adopted the Expression of Interest (EOI) system for both NLPNP and AIP applications.

These are some of the important steps in EOI

First you have to create your EOI online and submit it to Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) later on your EOI will be reviewed based on the NL labor market needs. After this if your profile is selected, you will receive the ITA. In the last, only those with an ITA can apply under the NLPNP or be endorsed under the AIP.

What are the Priority Sectors in Newfoundland and Labrador PNP ?

The province has mentioned some in demand job occupations inside the priority sectors plus these jobs are exempted from LMIA process moreover these applications are processed in priority.

The priority sectors of NL where you can expect more chances of getting PR than rest are:

  • Healthcare
  • Information and communications technology
  • Aquaculture

Important Note for International Students
