What is the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)?
The AAIP allows Alberta to nominate candidates for Canadian permanent residence who can contribute to the province’s economic growth. It operates through several streams, including:
- Express Entry-linked streams for priority sectors.
- Dedicated Healthcare Pathways.
- Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) for candidates already working in the province.
Applicants who wish to apply via Express Entry linked stream must know that Alberta has made it clear that they will prioritize certain sectors over others through designated pathways, which are:
- The Dedicated Health Care Pathway.
- The Accelerated Tech Pathway.
- The Law Enforcement Pathway.
