The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has issued Invitations to Apply in its latest draw on July 25, 2025. Alberta is good choice of getting permanent residency of Canada under its targeted draws for skilled workers.
Latest Alberta PNP Draw
The July 25, 2025 draw was conducted under its Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction). A total number of 39 Invitations to apply (ITA) were issued to candidates holding valid Express Entry Profile. These candidates are now invited to apply provincial nomination certificate.
The Provincial Nominee Certificate (PNP) adds additional 600 points in Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of Express Entry making the profile eligible for Express Entry PNP Draws.
IRCC regularly conducts the PNP draws and invite applicants for permanent residency (PR), IRCC prioritize the candidates nominated by provinces in its PR programs.
Most of the Applicants under this program are already here in Canada and well integrated into Canadian society and workforce. This is a good initiative taken by IRCC to prioritize international graduates and temporary foreign workers in Canada.

It’s important to note that this draw was a dedicated draw aiming at Construction workers holding valid Express Entry profile moreover applicants needed valid Alberta job offer under construction sector.
Alberta has announced earlier in this year 2025 that will prioritize the applicants in key sectors via conducting more draws under its three main Express Entry stream programs.
The key sectors under the eyes of Alberta government are construction, agriculture, healthcare and aviation.
