Alberta has conducted three PNP draws from October 01 and October 07, 2025 and invited a total of 1,324 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through its Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).
These invitations were issued under the three different streams which are Alberta Opportunity Stream, the Express Entry- Accelerated tech pathway, and the Express Entry-Priority Sectors(Construction) stream.

You can see that majority of the invitations (1003) were issued under Alberta Opportunity stream and we saw same trend in previous Alberta PNP Draws.
If we analyze previous Alberta draws we see:
10 draws were conducted under Alberta Opportunity Stream, followed by 7 draws under Alberta Express Entry Stream Draw-Accelerated Tech Pathway and 6 draws under Alberta Express Entry-Priority Sectors(Construction).
About Each Stream
Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS)
For temporary foreign workers currently employed full-time in Alberta with an eligible job offer from an approved employer.
Accelerated Tech Pathway
For qualified tech professionals who are either working in Alberta or have a valid job offer in an eligible tech occupation within the province.
Priority Sectors (Construction)
Open to construction-industry professionals who list an eligible construction occupation as their primary occupation in their Express Entry profile and may also have an Alberta job offer.
Increase in Nomination Allocation
Some good news for international graduates in Canada, On September 9, 2025, the Government of Alberta announced a boost of 1,528 provincial nominations, increasing the province’s 2025 allocation from 4,875 to 6,403.
Alberta announced that this increase in nominations will assist province to fill the gaps in the labor market and will support it’s key economic priorities.

What This Means for Applicants
