Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited a big number of applicants for Canadian Permanent Residency in Express Entry Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Draw on June 26, 2025.
This is a Canadian Experience Class Draw means only applicants having Canadian work experience are invited for permanent residency. This is the second CEC draw of June till now. Last CEC draw was conducted on June 12, 2025 and same 3000 applicants were invited from the pool.

This draw shows us Canada’s effort to retain the skilled workers who have gained valuable Canadian Work Experience and contributed to the country’s economy and culture.
What is Canadian Experience Class (CEC)?
The CEC is one of the 3 streams of Express Entry, it is designed for foreign workers who have gained Canadian work experience. The primary eligibility criteria are as follows :
- Have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada (within last 3 years)
- Meet the minimum language proficiency in English or French,
- Plan to live outside of Quebec
This Express Entry programs helps international graduates in Canada and other temporary foreign workers in Canada to become Canadian permanent residents as they already integrated into Canadian society.
What to do Next ?
Congratulations if you have received an ITA from IRCC. You must complete some important steps:
- Submit your complete PR application within 60 days
- Gather supporting documents including work experience proof, police clearance certificate and medical exams.

If you were not able to receive invitation don’t loose hope. You should consider improving CRS score or you can target non express entry PR options such as AIP, RCIP and Non EE PNP.
To improve the CRS score you can learn French language to improve points in second language. Plus you can improve your primary language. Moreover you can target EE PNP to add 600 points .Further more gain more skilled work experience.
You can also gain points for Certification of Qualification provided by appropriate governing authorities in trades sectors. If your sibling is PR or Citizen of Canada you can claim some extra points.
The other steps you can take are working in priority sectors of Express Entry. Some of priority sectors are French language , healthcare, education ,STEM and more.
This is a good immigration news from IRCC as majority of invited candidates are international graduates in Canada who have invested their youth and money in Canadian economy.
If you are still worried by high CRS scores you can target non Express Entry PNP programs or some other PR programs such as Atlantic Immigration Program, RCIP, FCIP and some pilot programs.
