OINP PNP Draw Multiple Candidates Invited for PR: June 3 2025 Draw.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted multiple targeted draws and issued multiple Invitations to Apply (ITA) on June 3 2025. These draws are part of the Ontario government plan to support the regional economical development and meet the labor market need of Ontario. This is a big relief to temporary permit holders in Canada who have submitted their interests in the application pool and were waiting for the ITAs from the Province. Let’s see what categories of workers were invited.

Eastern Ontario Draw

OINP targeted specifically candidates who are living in Eastern Ontario. 334 ITAs issued. The requirements were:

A job offer in Eastern Ontario.

Residing within Canada

A Bachelor’s degree or higher

Qualifying for Foreign Worker, International Student, or In Demand Skills Streams

These are the regions which comes in Eastern Ontario-: Ottawa, Leeds and Grenville, Lanark, Frontenac, Peterborough, Hastings, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Renfrew, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Prescott and Russell, Lennox and Addington, Prince Edward.

Northern Ontario Draw

Applicants living in Northern Ontario were invited. 973 invitations were sent, more than double that of Eastern Ontario Draw. Candidates invited had:

A Job Offer in Northern Ontario

Residing within Canada

A Bachelor’s degree or higher

Eligible for Foreign Worker, International Student, or In Demand Skills Stream

If you don’t know what regions are in Northern Ontario here is the list: Muskoka Haliburton, Nipissing, Parry Sound, Manitoulin, Sudbury, Greater Sudbury/Grand Sudbury, Timiskaming, Cochrane, Algoma, Thunder Bay Rainy River and Kenora.

REDI Pilot Draw

Most of the people are not aware of this pilot program it’s designed to attract skilled labor force in small and rural communities of Ontario. If you are looking your pathways to Permanent Residency you can target this program if it suits your profile. Regional Economic Development through Immigration. The conditions are the applicant must be eligible under Foreign Worker, International Student, or In Demand Skills Stream plus residing in Canada.

Healthcare Occupations Draw

Canada is giving priority to healthcare workers and continues to invite them for permanent residency to supports it’s burdened healthcare system. OINP also invited healthcare workers who were residing in Canada and working in healthcare sector.

The minimum score required:

64+ for Foreign Worker/International Student

Targets Healthcare Occupations:

  • NOC 31101 – Specialists in surgery
  • NOC 31102 – General practitioners and family physicians
  • NOC 31300 – Nursing co-ordinators and supervisors
  • NOC 31301 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
  • NOC 31302 – Nurse practitioners
  • NOC 31303 – Physician assistants, midwives and allied health professionals
  • NOC 32101 – Licensed practical nurses
  • NOC 33102 – Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
  • NOC 44101 – Home support workers, housekeepers and related occupations

34+ for in demand skills and a job offer in the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) code:

  • NOC 44101 – Home support workers, housekeepers and related occupations

Targeted Draws for Career Development Practitioners-160+ invitations issued

This was a targeted draw for NOC 41321 – Career Development Practitioners and Career Counsellors(Except Education). The minimum score required was 45 and eligibility was Employer Job Offer- Foreign Worker Stream.

Important Information for Applicants

Only candidates who are invited in this draw can apply plus OINP needs updated Employer Form. All the applicants must provide updated Application for Approval of Employment Position (Employer Form) (Effective April 10, 2024). Old forms will result in incomplete application and fees refund. Moreover, you must submit application through the OINP e-filing portal. It’s important that you submit your application without delays as you have 14 days.

In this draw it comes to know that Ontario is now targeting highly educated people living in Eastern and Northern part of Ontario plus it continues to invite healthcare workers employed in Ontario. This draw may result in more people leaving GTA and moving to smaller towns in the hope to get ITA.
